Hickstead Derby Meeting takes place Late Jun 2027 (dates TBC) in Hickstead, England. The dress code is Country smart: chinos or summer dresses, blazers, sun hats, and shoes you can walk on grass in. Typical cost ranges from 300 to 900 EUR per person.

The Hickstead Derby Meeting at the All England Jumping Course in Sussex, built around a course so demanding it has gone unbeaten in some years. Its signature obstacles, the Derby Bank, the Devil's Dyke and the Cornishman, are permanent grass fixtures found nowhere else in the sport. Four days of international jumping in unfussy English countryside with none of the pretension of the bigger fixtures.

Tickets are sold directly through hickstead.co.uk, with advance online prices below the gate rate and car parking generally included. Expect roughly 25 to 40 euros per adult for Derby Sunday and less for the earlier days, with grandstand and hospitality upgrades available. There is no ballot, children often go free, and it remains one of the best-value days in top-flight British sport.
Tickets for the 2027 Derby Meeting are not on sale yet - Hickstead opens booking through a pop-up shop on its own site closer to the event, and there is no permanent ticket page to link to.
Insider tip
Stand at the Derby Bank rather than sitting in the grandstand - the drop is the fence that decides the class, and its severity simply does not read from a seat.
