Sweden's biggest equestrian week, run on grass arenas beside the beach at the tip of the Falsterbo peninsula. It pairs a five-star showjumping Grand Prix and Nations Cup with dressage and pony classes, and the atmosphere sits closer to a seaside summer party than a stadium sporting event.

How to attend
Tickets are sold on falsterbohorseshow.se, generally from the winter before. Weekday ground admission is inexpensive, often under SEK 200, while grandstand seats for the Sunday Grand Prix cost considerably more. Everything is open to the public with no membership route needed - the sponsor tents lining the main arena are the local equivalent of a members' enclosure.
Insider tip
The showgrounds sit directly on the beach - bring swimwear, because locals swim between classes and the Falsterbo sandbanks are among the best stretches of coast in Sweden.
