How to attend
Tickets are sold at calgarystampede.com, usually opening the previous autumn. Park admission alone is around CAD 25 and covers the midway, exhibitions and free stages. Rodeo and Evening Show grandstand seats are ticketed separately, roughly CAD 45 to CAD 200 depending on the day. Nothing is invitation-only, though corporate chalets along the infield are the insider position.
Insider tip
The Stampede Breakfast circuit is free pancakes served across the city every morning of the festival - it is where Calgarians actually go, no ticket needed, and it is the fastest way to stop feeling like a tourist.
