Roskilde Festival
Roskilde Festival takes place Jun 26 - Jul 3, 2027 (four warm-up days, then four main music days) in Roskilde, Denmark. The dress code is Festival casual built for mud - waterproof jacket, wellington boots and layers; the crowd is expressive and costume-friendly. Typical cost ranges from 450 to 900 EUR per person.

One of the largest music and culture festivals in Northern Europe, a non-profit run largely by volunteers since 1971, with all profits donated to charity. Beyond headline concerts it hosts serious art installations, activism and a legendary eight-day camping community of over 100,000 people. It is Scandinavia's defining festival rite of passage.
