Australian PGA Championship
Australian PGA Championship takes place Nov 26 - 29, 2026 (venue to be confirmed) in Sydney, Australia. The dress code is Smart casual - collared shirts, comfortable flats or golf shoes for walking the course, and strong sun protection for warm Sydney days. Typical cost ranges from 250 to 1500 EUR per person.

A flagship championship co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia, whose Joe Kirkwood Cup has been contested since 1905 and won by Norman, Scott and Woods. For 2026 it is expected to move south to The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney while Brisbane's Royal Queensland is reworked ahead of the 2032 Olympics. It closes the Australian summer swing alongside the Australian Open.

How to attend
Grounds or weekly tickets are sold via Ticketek and the official PGA of Australia site once sales open, usually in September, with walk-the-course grounds passes the cheapest option. Confirm the final venue on golf.com.au before booking travel, as the 2026 host has moved from Brisbane. Corporate hospitality marquees along the finishing holes are sold separately.
The 2026 host venue has still not been confirmed and grounds passes are not on sale yet - they normally open through the official PGA of Australia site and Ticketek in September.
Insider tip
The Lakes sits practically under the Sydney Airport flight path, ten minutes from the terminal - which makes it the rare championship you can walk out of a long-haul flight and reach before the afternoon wave tees off.
