Run by the team behind the Ubud Writers Festival, it champions a hugely underrated national cuisine, from Balinese smoked duck to Sumatran rendang, in an intimate jungle-town setting.

How to attend
General admission is free - just walk into the Taman Kuliner hub. Special events, chef dinners, masterclasses and food tours (roughly IDR 150k up to 1.5m) are ticketed on ubudfoodfestival.com and sell out ahead of time. Fly into Denpasar and stay in or near Ubud; the program typically drops a couple of months before the festival.
The food market and main hub are free to walk into; extra tickets for chef's tables and masterclasses are arranged directly with the festival and none are on sale for 2027 yet.
