Standard general admission to Carnival race nights at Meydan is usually free for the apron and grandstand areas - you simply turn up, though registration through the Dubai Racing Club site is sometimes required. Premium enclosures, trackside dining and the whole Dubai World Cup meeting are ticketed, priced properly and sell out well in advance. Meydan is about 20 minutes from Dubai airport by taxi.
