The oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse show in the United States, running on the same Main Line showgrounds since 1896 and stretching across eleven days from late May into early June. Hunters, jumpers, saddlebreds, coaching and carriage classes all share the blue-and-white rings, with a grand prix under lights as the sporting high point. Proceeds go to Bryn Mawr Hospital, and the adjoining country fair makes it a genuine Philadelphia summer ritual rather than a closed sporting event.

How to attend
Grounds admission and reserved grandstand seats are sold on the official site, with grounds entry priced for families rather than sponsors. Fully open to the public. Evening grand prix sessions and Ladies Day draw the biggest crowds and reward booking a reserved seat. Devon has its own SEPTA station on the Paoli/Thorndale line, a short train ride from Philadelphia's 30th Street.
