Bathurst 1000
Bathurst 1000 takes place Oct 8 - 11, 2026 in Bathurst, Australia. The dress code is Casual with layers and wet-weather gear - the mountain is exposed and spring weather turns quickly; sturdy shoes for genuinely steep ground. Typical cost ranges from 250 to 1200 EUR per person.
Australia's greatest touring-car race, 1,000km of Supercars around Mount Panorama, a circuit that is a public mountain road with houses on it for 50 weeks of the year. The elevation change, the concrete walls across the top and the Conrod straight make it genuinely intimidating. The camping crowd on the mountain is a national institution in its own right.
