Nothing is sold on site except ice, and every attendee must haul in all supplies.

How to attend
Buy tickets in advance through the staggered releases on afrikaburn.org - capacity is limited and there is no guarantee of gate sales. You must be fully self-sufficient (water, food, shelter, fuel) for the week. Drive a well-prepared vehicle about 4 - 5 hours from Cape Town on gravel roads; punctures are routine.
