A spring festival that pairs professional ski and snowboard competition - including the Slush Cup pond skim - with concerts, art shows, film and photography events across Whistler village. A large share of it is free and outdoors, which gives it a genuine street-party feel rather than a corporate one. It closes the season and pulls a young, international mountain crowd.

How to attend

Most village concerts, art shows and street events are free and open to anyone in Whistler during the week. Ticketed headline concerts, parties and the film and photography showdowns are sold through wssf.com and sell out, so buy as soon as the programme drops. Watching or entering on-mountain competitions requires a Whistler Blackcomb lift pass, typically CAD 150 or more per day. Confirm the 2027 dates on wssf.com, which had not published them at time of writing.

Most of the Whistler village programme is free to attend, and the ticketed concerts and multimedia nights have no 2027 dates loaded yet on the festival's official ticket page.

Insider tip

The Slush Cup pond skim and the Olympic Plaza concerts cost nothing; the ticketed event actually worth paying for is the Pro Photographer Showdown, which sells out before anything else.
