A three-week harvest festival filling Sapporo's central Odori Park with over 300 stalls of Hokkaido's best - fresh seafood, ramen, artisan cheese, sake and full-course meals from top local chefs, organised block by block by theme. Free to enter and drawing over two million visitors, it is Japan's great northern larder laid out in one park.

How to attend

No ticket needed - walk into Odori Park (blocks 4 - 11) any day from 10:00 to 20:30 and pay per dish at the stalls (cash and IC cards accepted). Fly into New Chitose Airport and take the train and subway to Odori Station. Weekends and lunchtimes are busiest; weekday mornings are the connoisseur's window.

No ticket is needed - walk into Odori Park during the 11 September to 3 October 2026 run and pay per dish at the stalls.

Each Odori block has a theme - head straight for the rotating regional-village block, where small Hokkaido towns sell specialities that never reach Tokyo, and go weekday mornings to skip the queues.
