A World Rally-Raid Championship round crossing Moroccan dunes, stony plateaus and mountain tracks for cars, bikes, quads and trucks, and traditionally the decisive event of the rally-raid season. The route runs from the Atlantic near Agadir into the Sahara, finishing deep in the south. It is the main Dakar rehearsal, so the works teams turn up with everything.

Insider tip

The public shakedown at the Agadir start is free, close-up and the only point in the week where every car and bike is in one place - after that the bivouac moves daily and following needs a 4x4 and a guide.
