Fjällräven Polar
Fjällräven Polar takes place 2027 edition unconfirmed - recent editions ran late Mar to early Apr; check with Fjallraven before planning in Signaldalen, Norway. The dress code is Full expedition winter clothing, most of it issued by Fjallraven: heavy insulation, windproof shell, expedition boots and mitts.

A roughly 300km dog-sled expedition across Arctic Scandinavia run by the Swedish outdoor brand Fjallraven, finishing in Signaldalen near the Norwegian fjords. A small group of participants selected from a global applicant pool learn to drive their own husky teams and camp out in extreme cold across several days. The premise is that with the right clothing and instruction, ordinary people can handle the Arctic.

How to attend
You cannot buy a place. Historically you applied during an open autumn window and won a spot through a combination of public online voting and jury selection, with Fjallraven covering travel, gear and the expedition itself, and no prior expedition experience required. Note that the dedicated polar.fjallraven.com site is not currently responding, so treat the programme as unconfirmed and check fjallraven.com or the brand's channels before assuming a 2027 edition.
You cannot buy a place and there is no open application - the dedicated Fjallraven Polar pages are not loading and no 2027 entry window has been announced.
Insider tip
If the programme returns, the application is decided as much by public voting as by the jury, so a short, honest video and a real network of people willing to vote matters more than outdoor CV.
