The season-ending finale of the PGA Tour's FedExCup playoffs, contested by the 30 players who survive the post-season at East Lake Golf Club, Bobby Jones's home course in Atlanta. From 2026 the staggered starting-strokes format is gone: all 30 begin level over 72 holes, so whoever wins the tournament wins the FedExCup and its bonus. The tiny field makes it the most intimate big-money week of the year.

How to attend
Tickets are on sale to the public at tourchampionship.com in daily and weekly formats, and it is one of the easier premium PGA Tour events to get into late. With only 30 players, arrive for the afternoon wave rather than the morning if you want to see the leaders. East Lake is close to central Atlanta and served by shuttle and rideshare rather than on-site parking.

With only 30 players in the field and everyone starting level from 2026, the whole tournament fits inside a couple of hours of tee times - stand near the 18th green from mid-afternoon and you will see essentially every contender finish.
