Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters
Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters takes place Mid-Apr 2027 (2026 edition ran Apr 5 - 12) in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The dress code is Riviera smart-casual: linen, loafers, sunglasses. Hospitality and the Club terraces are dressier, and a light layer helps against the sea breeze. Typical cost ranges from 500 to 4000 EUR per person.

An ATP Masters 1000 clay event played at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, which is actually just over the border in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France. The courts are cut into a cliff above the Mediterranean and the sea fills the backdrop of every rally, which is why players and photographers rate it the most beautiful venue on tour. Attendance is not compulsory for top players, but most come anyway for the setting.

How to attend
Open to the public. Tickets sell through the official online store from around December; early-week general admission is inexpensive and lets you sit close on the outer courts, while Court Rainier III seats and finals weekend command a premium. Hospitality and private boxes are sold direct by the organiser. Reach the club by train to Monaco-Monte-Carlo then a short bus or taxi, or drive the Basse Corniche from Nice.
Insider tip
The club is terraced into the cliff, so a cheap general-admission ticket early in the week still buys the view that makes this the most photographed court in tennis: red clay in the foreground, the Mediterranean directly behind it.
