How to attend
Buy timed session tickets via eplus when they open (typically late January) - they are first-come, first-served and sell fast. Choose an A ticket (reserved seating) or cheaper B ticket (standing); each grants one roughly 3-hour session with a tasting cup. Strictly 20+, bring ID; Niigata is about 2 hours from Tokyo by Joetsu Shinkansen.
The March 2026 event has finished and 2027 tasting tickets are not out yet - they go on sale through the organiser's Japanese ticketing partner and convenience stores, usually from late January.
Insider tip
Stay at the Hotel Nikko connected to Toki Messe so you can drop your haul between sessions - and eat properly before your slot, as 90 breweries of free-pour tasting is a marathon, not a sprint.
