One of the Alps' most exclusive classic touring rallies, running roughly 600km over Tyrolean, Salzburg and Bavarian passes from a base in Kitzbuhel. The entry list is heavy with pre-war and post-war rarities from Bentley, Bugatti, Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes, split across Sport, Classic Trophy and Exotic categories. It closes with a Concours d'Elegance staged in the town centre.

How to attend

Taking part is by application with an eligible classic car through alpenrallye.at, and the field is selected. The public can watch for free as the rally departs and returns through Kitzbuhel, and the Saturday-afternoon Concours d'Elegance in the town centre is open to all spectators at no cost. Book Kitzbuhel accommodation early for rally weekend.

Watching the start, the return and the town-centre Concours d'Elegance costs nothing and needs no ticket - only entrants with an eligible classic car apply, and 2027 entries have not opened.
