A long-running late-spring concours on the Connecticut waterfront at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, run by Hagerty across American and international classes plus a large car-club showcase. It is compact, walkable and set against Long Island Sound in one of the wealthiest towns in the country. The Northeast's most respected collector-car weekend, and an easy day trip from Manhattan.

How to attend

General-admission day tickets are sold at greenwichconcours.com, usually cheaper in advance than at the gate, with limited VIP and hospitality packages above that. It is fully open to the public. Take Metro-North from Grand Central to Greenwich station. Entrants apply to show cars through the registration page on the site.

It is a 45-minute Metro-North ride from Grand Central and the park is a ten-minute walk from Greenwich station - far easier than driving, because parking anywhere near the waterfront on show days is effectively non-existent.
