Secto Rally Finland (formerly Neste Rally Finland) takes place Late July to early August 2027 (dates TBC) in Jyvaskyla, Finland. The dress code is Outdoor and weather-ready: sturdy footwear, waterproofs and layers for standing on gravel forest stages, plus ear protection near the road. The fastest round of the World Rally Championship, run on smooth, cresting gravel roads through the Finnish lake district where cars are airborne for 40 metres at a time. Long known as Neste Rally Finland and now titled Secto Rally Finland, it draws enormous crowds who camp in the forest for the week. The spectator culture, the midsummer light and the jumps are the draw.

How to attend
Day and weekend spectator passes are sold at sectorallyfinland.fi and are inexpensive by WRC standards. It is fully open to the public. Arrive early at official spectator zones - the in-town Harju stage and forest classics such as Ouninpohja - follow marshal instructions and use rally-provided parking. Camping and service-park access are available, and Jyvaskyla is reachable by direct train from Helsinki.
Insider tip
Ouninpohja is the legendary stage but its access roads shut hours before the cars run - arrive mid-morning with a folding chair, or take the Harju sprint in the middle of Jyvaskyla where the cars climb the city hill under lights.
