How to attend
Completely free and open to the public - stake out a spot along the Corniche several hours before the daytime parade, as roads close and crowds are huge. Fireworks follow after dark. The Doha Metro is by far the easiest way in and out; the date is fixed every year on December 18.
The parade and fireworks are free public events on the Corniche - there is no ticket, you just find a spot early.
