The legendary APEGA-run fair that made Lima a global dining capital, mixing street cooks and fine-dining names across themed zones from 2008 until its last edition in 2017. Mistura itself has not returned, but its spirit lives on in Peru Mucho Gusto, the Promperu-organised fair now held in Lima and regional cities. Third-party sites advertising a Mistura 2026 are not backed by any official announcement.

How to attend

Mistura has no confirmed revival, so attend the successor: Peru Mucho Gusto, whose Lima edition runs Oct 30 - Nov 1, 2026 in Surco with free entry and pay-per-dish stalls from hundreds of regional cooks. Watch Promperu and Peruvian press for venue details and any registration requirement. Treat any Mistura 2026 ticket listings with suspicion.

Mistura is dormant with no confirmed revival, so there is nothing to book; the successor fair Peru Mucho Gusto is free to enter and needs no ticket.

Insider tip

Do not plan a trip around Mistura itself - go for Peru Mucho Gusto, the free state-run fair that now gathers cooks from all 25 regions in the same democratic spirit.
